External network penetration testing

External penetration testing assesses everything you expose to the internet, the way an outside attacker with no inside knowledge would approach it. It is the first test most organisations need, because the perimeter is where uninvited attention arrives.

What we test

We map your internet-facing footprint, then probe exposed services, remote access, VPNs, mail and web endpoints for weaknesses that let an outsider gain a foothold, extract data or reach systems that should never be reachable from outside.

How we report it

Findings arrive with evidence, business impact and a concrete fix, prioritised by real risk. A retest after remediation confirms the perimeter is actually tightened.

What we look for

  • Exposed services and management interfaces that should not be public
  • Weak or missing authentication on remote access and VPNs
  • Unpatched internet-facing software with known exploits
  • Misconfigured mail and web services
  • Information leakage that helps an attacker plan the next step
